Beauty in the Eyes of a Child...

The essence of a child;
A giggle and a blush,
A twinkle in the eye,
An untold secret.

These are the things I try to capture in my portraits of children.  

I love working with children because they still possess that innocence that allows them to say and do anything. They laugh out loud, they jump with abandon, they squeal with delight...and I'm lucky enough to be right there with my camera to capture it for all time.

Sometimes children are shy and sometimes they are all out there.  Whatever the personality, we can work with it. We will take the extra time with a shy child to acquire their trust.  A shy child is like a rosebud, they will bloom, given time.   The other end of that spectrum is the inquisitive, energetic child.  You've gotta be fast with these little folks but one thing about them is that a little team-building goes a long way. 

All children are eager to be a part of the creative process when they are given the opportunity.
